We are currently offering two courses:

An introduction to technical analysis. A 1-day course covering the key tenets of this important subject. The course is suitable for:

• Client-facing staff who wish to be able to interpret technically-based research
• Portfolio managers and traders who wish to integrate technical analysis into their decision making process
• As part of a graduate trainee program

There are five modules:

1. Some basic concepts - efficient market and Dow theory
2. Identifying trend and relative trend
3. Support, resistance and other behavioural patterns
4. Indicators
5. Putting it all together

Fixed Income for the private investor. A 1-day course covering this important subject.

• An introduction to the bonds markets: Types of bonds and their lifecycles.
• Why every portfolio should contain bonds.
• Bond maths 101: price, yield and duration
• Resources for the private client; researching and dealing in the Sterling bond markets
• Structuring a fixed income portfolio

The course is suitable for:

1. Client-facing staff who wish to be able to understand the basics of the gilts and Sterling bond markets.
2. Wealth and discretionary portfolio managers
3. As part of a graduate trainee program
